08:00 – Pick-up & Saigon Cyclo Experience: MSA’s tour guide and vehicle will pick you up at the designated meeting point. For guests staying in the downtown area, the journey begins with a traditional 30-minute cyclo ride, taking you through the signature streets of Saigon. For hotels located further from the center, our vehicle will transfer you directly to Ben Thanh Market to start the program.

08:30 – Meet the Chef at Ben Thanh Market: You will meet your tour guide and the cooking class chef. Here, you will be introduced to the dishes on the menu and get a brief overview of the ingredients to be used in the class.

08:45 – Explore Ben Thanh Market & Source Ingredients: Under the direct guidance of the chef, you will explore the city’s most famous market, learning about the distinct herbs, spices, and key ingredients of Vietnamese cuisine. This is a great opportunity to experience traditional market culture and learn how to select fresh produce just like a local.

09:15 – Transfer to Chef Vu Cooking Class: After the market exploration, you and the guide will take a short 5-minute walk to the cooking class at Chef Vu Cooking Class (133 Nguyen Du, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1).

09:30 – 12:00 | Vietnamese Cooking Class Experience: Under the guidance of a professional chef, you will master skills ranging from basic to advanced, including knife techniques, ingredient preparation, seasoning, food presentation, and signature Vietnamese cooking methods.

You will personally prepare 3 traditional dishes:

• Cyclo Spring Rolls 

• Hanoi Grilled Pork with Rice Noodles 

• Sizzling Vietnamese Crepe with Shrimp and Pork 

Additionally, the chef will showcase a special demonstration dish for you to enjoy and further discover the sophistication of Vietnamese cuisine.

12:00 – 13:00 | Enjoy Lunch: Savor the delicious dishes you prepared yourself in the cozy atmosphere of the classroom. The meal concludes with a refreshing fruit ice cream dessert.

13:00 – 14:30 | Visit Dinh Doc Lap: The journey continues at one of Vietnam’s most historically significant landmarks. You will learn about the country’s memorable historical milestones and admire the unique architecture of this iconic building.

14:30 – 15:30 | Nha Tho Duc Ba & Buu Dien Trung Tam: Explore a cluster of classic French colonial architecture standing prominently in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. You will have time to admire their historic beauty, learn the stories behind the city’s formation, and capture memorable moments.

15:30 – 16:00 | Return to the Original Pick-up Point: The vehicle and tour guide will drive you back to the meeting point. This concludes an exciting 8-hour journey, where you have not only uncovered the rich historical and cultural values of Saigon but also personally experienced the essence of Vietnamese cuisine through a unique cooking class.
